Majors and Careers

When deciding on a career path and major, it is important to access your interests, skills, values, and personality. Assessments have been designed to help you better understand yourself and how these four components fit into the world of work. This information guides you as you begin to do occupational research.

The Career Center utilizes assessments as educational and exploration tools for students to narrow down their career choices. Career counselors choose assessments appropriate to students' needs. Follow-up appointments with a career counselor are required after the completion of an assessment. Please call 864-656-0440 to schedule an appointment.
