Overcoming Imposter Syndrome

Do you feel like a fraud pursuing the job of your dreams? This feeling of being less qualified or accomplished in your role is called Imposter Syndrome. This belief can be limiting, especially for those with high ambition and expectations of themselves. Impostor Syndrome steals peace and inhibits courage to fully lean into leadership opportunities. In this workshop, you will learn techniques to recognize and combat Imposter Syndrome. Kirby Player is the Executive Director for the Palmetto Leadership for the Environment, Agriculture and Forestry (PLEAF) Program with over 40 years of leadership experience at Clemson University. Dr. Player uses his personal story to empower others to see their strengths and combat limiting beliefs like Imposter Syndrome.
