Why I decided to become a CAP : I am interested in being a Career Ambassador because I want to be used as a guide for my peers. Career development alone sounds so frightening when you have not had any exposure to Career development. As an Ambassador, it helps transition from a student standpoint to a professional outlook. It will allow my peers to work on specific skills that will eventually be tailored to their future job applications and interviews. For myself, this opportunity will allow me to expand my connections with faculty and prospective employers. I want to expand on my communication and application skills because those are the main aspects that make up the ideal candidate for any job. I want to be a part of a professional program that will expand my skills and help me become more confident in myself.
